What are you working on this week?
I’ve started my August 12-in-14 project, a pair of socks out of a colorway I’m releasing later this week –
I should have this new colorway, The 60s Have Called, up and available for buying on Friday.
Speaking of those decade colorways, I’ve added Instagram hashtags to all the rest of the decade yarns; if you’re on Instagram and have any of those yarns in any pictures, you can now add hashtags to those photos (even in the comments) and I’ll be able to see them (because I love to see what you make with what I make). The hashtags are pretty intuitive: #HCthe40shavecalled, #HCthe50shavecalled, #HCthe70shavecalled, and #HCthe80shavecalled. When I release the new colorway, it will have the hashtag of #HCthe60shavecalled. This will also most likely wrap up the Decade series… I’ve toyed with doing one for the 90s, but am not yet in love with any of the thoughts I have, so the series will probably wind up being the 40s through the 80s. A good five-decade span!
This week I’m also still working on rocking the Fitbit, although my allergies have been acting up and I’ve been using morning headaches as an excuse to not walk for a couple of days. So I made myself go this morning, even if it was just for two miles.
It’s Crepe Myrtle season!
If any of you have a Fitbit, I’m always looking for new friends – seeing a lot of names above mine motivates me. You have to have someone’s email, to friend them, if I understand correctly, and I’m using my personal rather than work email for that. Drop me a line if you want my info!
How about y’all? What are you working on this week?
